Ella: Our heroine! The reason for the comic in the first place. Ella is your average Irish-American girl; she has a crappy office day job she hates. No one, even her, is sure what job she actually does at the office.
In the evenings Ella becomes Mistress Ella and works for Goddesses which is a dungeon of fetish, domination and BDSM. Ella does not get a long with the other Mistresses at Goddesses and is very possessive of her stuff. This leads to oodles of comedy too. Se is also a part time exotic dancer.

Mike: Mike is Ella’s boyfriend; he is very adorable but a little goofy and sort of dumb. He means well and is very sweet and compliments Ella very well. Mike has a job he hates too but with nowhere near the white hot intensity that Ella hates her jobs. Mike might be the only thing Ella doesn’t hate. He keeps life interesting and funny albeit crazy and streessful but FUN. |

Beth: Beth is the owner/proprieter of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Ella is a HUGE fan of Beth and her perfume blends. So big a fan in fact that it is a little unhealthy sometimes. Good thing Beth doesn't own a rabbit. |

Ginger: Ginger and Ella will never get along. They are just too different Ginger is weak minded and a little slow so that clashes with Ella's rapier wit and sarcasm. Ginger is the frequent |

Margo: Margo is the essence of woman unleashed. She is older than Ella and the other girls. Her unique perspective and cutting wit make her the perfect best friend for Ella. Together they make poor Rob suffer atrocities of shame. |

Rob: Rob is Ella's boss at the dungeon. He is the constant victim of her pranks and the brunt of most jokes. This is how he wants it so he gets it. Rob is a rather large gentleman. His comedic mind conjures all manner of zaniness and his jokes are usually self deprecating in nature. He identifies with Marvin, The Paranoid Android from Douglas Adam’s The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy in that he too, often, “feels very depressed”. |

Ken: Ken is Ella’s boss at the crappy office job. He is ultraconservative and secretly wants to fire Ella and tries, unsuccessfully to fire her at every opportunity. Problem is it is tough to fire someone when you are not sure what they actually do because you can’t be certain how to replace them. |
